Dis­cov­er the impact of devel­op­ing a cohe­sive orga­ni­za­tion­al vision, mis­sion and val­ues in build­ing your lead­er­ship Foun­da­tion. A foun­da­tion­al leader rec­og­nizes a once-in-a-life­time oppor­tu­ni­ty when one presents itself.


Dur­ing the Foun­da­tion­al Lead­er­ship course, par­tic­i­pants embark on a path of self-dis­cov­ery, gain lead­er­ship insights, and devel­op skills that will serve them through­out their lives. In this course, every new mem­ber of Sig­ma Chi is intro­duced to the Val­ues, Virtues and Ideals of the orga­ni­za­tion and explores what belong­ing to a val­ues-based orga­ni­za­tion means while learn­ing to apply these virtues and ideals to their lives and actions on their jour­ney toward per­son­al excel­lence. Par­tic­i­pants will learn that the growth and devel­op­ment of an organization’s vision, mis­sion, and val­ues are inte­gral in estab­lish­ing foun­da­tion­al lead­er­ship qual­i­ties and sus­tain­ing a Peter­son Award-bound chapter.
